In a minimalist style, without neglecting the comfort, the Sofa Bend is the latest creation of Stéphane Perruchon. What strikes at first glance it is the contrast between the fine structure formed by a sheet of metal folded and the cushions soft and colorful. Indeed this sofa is composed of a single sheet of metal, that once is bent and lacquer in the desired color, it remains only to add cushions together.

Adjustable LED Desk Lamp : Chain Lamp
If you are looking for a really cool lamp for your desk, then the Chain Lamp designed by Iliara Marelli for Nemo Italianaluce might be what you’re looking for. Made from case aluminum and lit by 4 bright white (1-watt) LEDs, its articulating body folds flat to form an accent light when you’re not using it for task illumination. When completely closed, it measures just 2.75″ tall (and looks like a high tech stapler). Open it up, and it can reach up to almost 22″ in height. This beautiful design doesn’t come cheap, the price is $595 USD, but if you want something cool and elegant you have to pay the price

Adding Colorful Accents into a White Danish Home
There is something about Scandinavian interior designers because most of the homes I’ve seen use white in excess, but not this Danish home. With a very good mix of modern and classic, and a lot of white furnishings it still managed to amazed me when I saw how they used colorful accents to suppress all that white. Some of the things I really love about it, includes the kitchen flooring, the simple living room, those pillows and the working space with the red chairs.

Beverly House in Toronto Has a Modern Minimalist Interior
For the lat 3-4 years I have become the fan of a minimalist interior design, mostly because I am much more productive in a clean but modern environment and secondly because it’s like I can breathe properly. Take a look at the Beverly House from downtown Toronto, that is exactly what I described above.Restored by Stanford Downey, from a 100 year old row house it features a green wall, a solar atrium with passive heating and cooling vents, in-floor heating, a beautiful open-spce Scavolini kitchen, acoustical sound wall between neighbors (scream as much as you like) and various green products. The bathroom and the bedroom really blew my mind. Everything is so nicely aligned, and the colors … oh the colors. It’s a dream home. Simply beautiful.
