Earth House Estate Lättenstrasse

Earth houses is a project designed by Peter Vetsch and are based on the interpretation of an environmentally conscious, ecological and progressive architecture. The pictures from this post are with a house named Earth House Estate Lättenstrasse, that is located in Dietikon, Switzerland. Compared to traditional residential houses built on the ground, the aim of building an earth house is another: Not to live under or in the ground, but with it. The earth-house concept uses the ground as an insulating blanket that efficiently protects it from rain, low temperatures, wind and natural abrasion. An earth house does not have to be built under the ground, it can be placed onto naturally grown terrain.

Wooden House in the Czech Republic

The Czech architects, from Sporadical, finished their wooden house project in Central Bohemia at a former arboretum, last year. It’s a three floors economical and spacious weekend house, surrounded by nature, that has an open residential ground floor, an enclosed bedroom floor, and a rooftop terrace.

Beautiful and Practical Under Stair Drawer System

Ctd 2005 designed these stairs for a client who wanted to combine Shaker and Japanese utility into the space. The owner had both a shaker elemental utility look he wanted and to the Japanese for their use of storage under stairs as part of designing space, and the final result is a very practical use of space that I have to say it looks awesome. The Campbell Divertimento in LA
